Audiology Staff
The audiologists at Arizona Hearing and Balance Center hold Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degrees from nationally-recognized University programs with intensive instruction and hands-on experience in diagnostic testing, balance evaluation, cochlear implants, and hearing aids in both the pediatric and adult populations. They are highly experienced in audiometry and audiogram interpretation; electrophysiological testing; balance testing; hearing aid selection, fitting, and troubleshooting; and cochlear implant candidacy criteria, evaluation, counseling, programming, and troubleshooting. Our audiologists remain state-of-the-profession trained by attending numerous continuing education conferences and seminars each year.
Lindsay A. Shroyer, AuD, CCC-A, FAAA
Dr. Shroyer received her Doctorate of Audiology degree from the University of Louisville in 2012 following completion of a four year residential program. She received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from Western Kentucky University. She maintains a Dispensing Audiologist license from the state of Arizona is certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
Kelly Hernandez, AuD,CCC-A, FAAA
Dr. Hernandez joined Arizona Hearing and Balance in 2016. She has been an audiologist since 1997. Since then, she has worked for multiple neurotology practices and children’s hospitals. Dr. Hernandez provides both pediatric and adult services for diagnostic testing, cochlear implant evaluations and mapping, hearing aid evaluations and fittings. Additionally, she performs evoked potential testing for pediatric patients who have failed newborn hearing screenings. Working with cochlear implants has long been her passion and she is frequently inspired by her patient experiences.
Megan Fenn, AuD,CCC-A, FAAA
Dr. Fenn received her Doctorate of Audiology degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. Prior to her graduate studies she received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. She completed her externship at the University of Florida and joined Arizona Hearing and Balance after this time. She provides both pediatric and adult services including diagnostic testing, hearing aids, cochlear implant evaluations and mapping. In addition, she does BAHA appointment and evoked potentials. She maintains a Dispensing Audiologist license from the state of Arizona is certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
Madeline Frangenberg, AuD, CCC-A, FAAA
Madeline Frangenberg received her Doctorate of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ. Prior to her graduate studies, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Iowa. She completed her externship at the Medical College of Wisconsin and joined Arizona Hearing and Balance in September 2019. Dr. Frangenberg provides both pediatric and adult services for diagnostic testing, cochlear implant evaluations and mapping, as well as hearing aid evaluations and fittings. She maintains a dispensing audiologist license from the state of Arizona and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
